A few weeks back we had Main Aim come down to WCUW 91.3Fm in Worcester Ma. Main Aim is a group consisting of two emcees by the name of A.P. and Haze. They are both from Southbridge Ma and definitely represent that raw energy of Hip Hop. When you hear them you think of emcees that come from my golden era of emceeing. It’s almost like traveling in a time machine and bringing back that 97-98 sound of music. They definitely have a good connection as a group and top that with A.P.’s production skills they are a group to keep your eye on. A.P. has released “Da Mic Pro Vol Zero” as a solo effort that has production from himself, LG , Vanderslice , and Dj Manipulator. With that project being wrapped up A.P. teamed up with Haze and formed Main Aim they are currently working on their first group project and we will follow them as it gets closer to its completion.
We had a special guest that told us the story of how he met A.P. its towards the end of the video but I think it shows how an artist on his grind can leave a lasting impression on a stranger. Big Shout to Snipe

Under 21 sunday @ Club Universe held by RedCarpetWorcester.com had 4 performances on the bill with a special guest performance by G.M.B. Club Universe was packed and the performances were live, Its been awhile since I seen young cats move a crowd like this. There were so many people packed in both me and Lex were drenched in sweat just from standing in the middle of the crowd. The show was well put together and Red Carpet are definitely doing their thing, the only issue I have is @ the under 21 night girls like dancing on you when you trying to pass by. NO MAS NENA yo no quiero ir a la carce jajajajaja ( NO MORE LITTLE GIRL I dont want to go to jail ). Big Shouts to Mike at Red Carpet for allowing HHTT full access to the event, this show is definitely HHTT APROVED

DirtNap Entertainment: Benefit for Alzheimer’s Association

Dirtnap entertainment put together an amazing benefit show for the alzheimers association. They had two different areas going on with two different stages and two totally different genres of music. hip hop was in one room and punk/metal/alternative was in the other. This show took place in Southbridge Ma and was definitely a good look for ALL local music. Big shout to Craig over at Dirtnap Entertainment for allowing HHTT full access to the event as well as being a hospitable host. Unfortunately I couldn’t stay for the entire show, I was drinking Dayquil like it was a 40oz. I definitely enjoyed the parts of the show I did catch, be on the lookout for Dirtnap entertainment they are definitely taking some big steps in mixing up live hip hop with bands.
